Sorry we are full for this year.
Summer Produce CSA 2008
Cattleana Ranch is excited to offer you an opportunity to experience the enhanced taste and quality of locally grown fresh produce. Seriously consider joining our farm membership and garnering the benefits of fresh produce grown using environmentally sustainable practices.
Community Supported Agriculture
An invitation to receive healthy locally grown produce.
Community Supported Agriculture creates a direct relationship between you and the farmer. You will receive weekly, fresh in-season produce. In addition, you will know that your food dollar is going directly to the people who plant, tend and harvest your food.
If you love to eat, appreciate freshness and flavor, value local farming, and are willing to explore a new way to think about your food, join us for the season!
What is a CSA?
CSA members are "family partners" at Cattleana Ranch. Your share payment at the start of the season helps to operate our farm. Being a "member" means sharing in the risk and bounty along with us. When the weather is particularly favorable, you receive more variety and selection. When the weather is unfavorable, you may receive less selection than expected.
How does Cattleana Ranch's CSA Work?
In 2008, we will be offering 10, every other week shares. The first share will start in mid-June. Shares will then be every other week until mid-October – a total of 10. We will give you a handy schedule for pick-up times. Each week you will receive a wonderful in-season selection of produce – ready for you to select from at the farm, or boxed up and waiting for you at the farmers market.
